Saint Hilary of Poitiers was a 4th-century bishop and theologian who played a crucial role in defending the doctrine of the Trinity against Arianism. Exiled for his faith, he wrote extensively, including his influential work "On the Trinity." His writings and unwavering commitment to orthodoxy solidified his place as a Doctor of the Church.
